How to Get Rid of Acne

If you have been plagued by acne, then you know how devastating an outbreak can be. Salicylic acid treatments can help dry up pimples, but it doesn’t stop them from coming.

A dermatologist can treat you with Accutane that will probably stop breakouts, if you live through the treatment; but, it is very expensive and very dangerous. So, what are your other options? Change of diet, exercise, sunlight, and water are your best ways on how to get rid of acne.

Many people who suffer with acne do not eliminate properly. Their diets usually do not contain enough fiber, enough fresh fruits and vegetables, or enough water. They tend to consume foods and drinks that are high in high fructose corn syrup, and/or other sugars and starches. Also, they tend to neglect eating fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, grains, and nuts. When these fresh foods are not eaten, the glands cannot function properly to produce the right amounts of hormones.

Therefore, you may be diagnosed with a “hormone imbalance” that is considered the reason for your acne. Also, if you don’t eat enough of these fiber-filled healthy foods, your digestive system can become clogged, resulting in constipation. If your gut is filled, yet it can’t eliminate in the normal way, it will allow the built-up toxins to seep back into your system, which can result in acne breakouts. Just remember that you can still enjoy a variety of foods, if you make sure that you include the foods already mentioned when balancing your diet. Also, remember to avoid highly processed foods that have high fructose corn syrup, high sugars, and high starches.

How to get rid of acne?, you must eat a healthy diet, including enough fiber to have from 3 to 5 bowel movements daily, and enough pure water to keep the toxins moving out, and the cells, organs, and glands, working properly. For glands to be healthy and working at peak performance, it is imperative that you be outside approximately twenty minutes per day, if possible, without any contact lenses or glasses on your eyes. The sunlight activates the hypothalmus gland, which in turn, helps to regulate the other glands.

Since the hormones in your body are produced by the glands, you need healthy glands to have properly balanced hormones. You also need a healthy, well-functioning liver, because if your liver is functioning well, you will eliminate more toxins at a much more efficient rate. So, to keep your liver in tip-top shape, the first thing in the morning, 30 minutes to an hour before eating breakfast, it is good for your liver and for your skin, to drink the juice of 1or 2 fresh lemons in a cup or two of fresh, pure water.

Eating healthy will keep your skin healthier and all body functions in good working order. When you are eliminating 3-5 times daily, and your once-toxic system is no longer toxic, it is less likely that you will ever have acne breakouts. Of course, you should still continue to wash your acne prone areas with a gentle cleanser both morning and night to help to reduce any oil build-up and to help you to look fresh and clean.
